Bedroom Makeover Revealed

Hey everyone!! My bedroom is finally at a stage where I feel like it is worthy of sharing. This is my 2nd time making it over within the past couple of months. First, I painted my night stands because I was desperate to get rid of the matching furniture. Next, I painted an accent wall black which I absolutely love. I changed out the bedding from cream to black. The other walls were beige which I grew tired of a long time ago Even though, these changes were made something just didn't feel right. I knew this combination wasn't working for the look and feel I was aiming for.

The beige walls were working against how I wanted this space to look, so I had them painted white. Then, I changed out the bedding for a white duvet and black and white sheet set. On a trip to Savannah, GA, I feel in love with this mirror from West Elm. It helped to update the dresser that was originally bought with a matching mirror attached. Of course, plants would be part of my makeover. I love all of the beautiful greener in this space.

I love using pieces in unexpected ways. This Overstock cart is a great as a night stand. I am able to display books, Monica Lewis artwork, favorite Downtown Candle Company candles, and more. I also love that I can grab something to drink if I get thirsty while in bed

It’s all in the details. Books, artwork, and other special accessories make a room come alive. These beautiful beads from Tierra Del LaGarto makes a statement all its own draped over this framed artwork from Delmaine Donson. Let’s not forget about this gorgeous Hunter fan which pulls the room together in the most perfect way.
