Home Office Refresh

I purchased this exact white credenza for a client’s home office. Once we installed it, I knew it was the perfect addition for my own home office refresh. I was desperately in need of some storage as I had started collecting samples, paint chips, catalogs, etc. This All Modern credenza was everything that I needed to get my space organized.

The credenza would be placed directly across from my desk, so I had to style it if I was going to have to look at it all day. I decided to layer it with all of my favorites such as coffee table books, artwork, plants, and accessories.

I had been eyeing the Windy O'Connor large art piece for some time, and I knew it belonged above the credenza. It’s perfectly named Sasha Fierce which says it all for a space that I call my own. I paired the large piece with other artwork by Monica Lewis and PinkLomein.

My plants and planters are from EverBloom Designs here in Memphis. The macramé black plant hanger was custom made from Booth at B.Sartain. All of the coffee table books are from Amazon and Assouline. My favorite book Hail the Dark Lioness by Zanele Muholi is opened on top of my travel books. I wanted this space to have color with pink being the primary color. The coffee table books gave just the right color combinations that were needed in this space against the white wall and white credenza.

I purchased the acrylic bookend and business card holder from CB2. The gold candle holders are from H&M Home. Since this is a home office, I needed a tape dispenser and stapler that I purchased from Amazon. The calligraphy brush is from Whitney at WhitneyJDecor. The necklace that hangs on the Pinklomein artpiece is from Tierradellagarto, and the candle is from a black owned candle company here in Memphis called Downtown Candle Company. Finally, the basket that collects my keys as I walk in from outside is from Reflection Design. All frames are from Amazon and the art stands are also from Tierradellagarto.

Every piece that was purchased was truly thought about before it was purchased. I have created the space that will bring me inspiration for a very long time.

I will come another day to discuss how I organized the inside of the credenza.
