It's Like a Jungle Sometimes

It’s like a Jungle sometimes, it makes me wonder. LOL!! Upon reading and flipping through the beautiful pages of Wild Interiors by Hilton Carter, it prompted this post. The jungle I’m referring to is my plants of course. In every room in my home, you will find some greenery. Now some people like to use artificial plants, but I prefer the ones that are alive and kicking. You can purchase large plants that can sit on the floor to decorate a corner or you can sit them on top of a plant stand, small stool, or a atop a table. They can be placed on a nightstand, a dresser, and even on a sink counter. Anywhere you have room, you can place a plant. When I look at my plants, I actually smile. They bring warmth to an environment. In my opinion, there is no room complete without some greenery.

Like I stated in a previous post, plants can be used to place on top of books.

You can decorate an entire room with them and make your own jungle oasis. Whenever you purchase plants for your home make sure that you have the appropriate conditions for them to thrive and survive. You can do this by researching how to care for specific plants. Plants need sunlight, so make sure you have windows in the spaces you place your plants. If you don’t have a window in a room and you still want a plant, I would suggest a snake plant. It is real tolerate of most conditions. If you haven’t started your jungle collection, what are you waiting on? Plants need love too!!

Here are just a few of the homes that have plants that I adore.
