One Room Challenge: Week Two

Hey Friends!! We have entered into Week Two of the One Room Challenge. If you recall from my post from Week One, I will be making over my Master Bathroom over the next 8 weeks. This space is attached to our Master Bathroom, therefore, I wanted to make sure that it had some alignment. However, I wanted the space to have a wow factor. I wanted to be able to wake up and look into the bathroom and smile. I know that’s not a typical reaction for a bathroom, but hey, that’s what I am going for. The master bathroom is a space that I haven’t touched in years. It is definitely overdue for some tender loving care in this space.

If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you will know that I have updated my bedroom by painting it all white with a black accent wall. I had our open floor space painted white including the cabinets, and added green as an accent on the circle that separates our breakfast nook from the rest of the space. We changed out the chairs, added a kitchen island, changed out the hardware, added new bar stools, and added artwork. I had our living room painting all black and changed out our sofa table for a beautiful CB2 credenza. As you can see, most of my space needed updated aesthetically. The bones of the house are great. So after updating these spaces, the master bathroom left much to be desired. I plan to have fun with this space.

Let’s take another look at the before pictures.

So as you can see, there isn’t much going on in here. The paint is the color it was when we moved in many many years ago. This beige color is the absolute first thing that must go. I can’t wait for this to be complete, because it’s going to be good. Here is the plan.

Let me tell you this plan is better than I could have even imagined. I’m so excited to put all of these pieces together. I am thrilled to be working with Milton and King on one aspect of this space. Friends, its going to be so good. Please continue to follow along on my stories to get all the behind the scene footage of this transformation that will occur over the next 6 weeks.
